Golden Crown Coffee Cake (or Refrigerator Rolls) - Aunt Dorothy

Dough 2 pkg dry yeast 2 ½ C. water ¾ C. melted shortening ¾ C. sugar 2 eggs, well beaten 8 - 8 ½ C. flour 2 ½ t. Salt |
Soften yeast in water - add rest of ingredients but only 4 C. flour. Beat well. Stir in remaining flour - makes a soft dough. Cover bowl. Store overnight in refrigerator - dough will keep 4 days. Makes 3 coffee cakes or 36 refrigerator rolls. |
