Thomas Jefferson's Vanilla Ice Cream

Ok, this recipe is not from Ruth. In June, 2014, our family visited Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. In the visitor’s center concession, we enjoyed wonderful ice cream derived from the original recipe of Thomas Jefferson. Today, August 27, 2016 we made the modern recipe derived from TJ’s original.
