Barbara’s French Bread

1 T margarine 2 t. Salt 2 t. Sugar 2 ½ c. warm water 3 packages (6 ¾ t.) rapid rise yeast 7 c. bread flour |
Mix on speed 2 in KitchenAid mixer with dough hook for 4 minutes. Cover and let rise until double bulk. Dump on a well floured counter and cut into 8 pieces, and flatten each one into a rectangle. Roll up and tuck ends under. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Let rise until double. Bake at 375 F until browned. Freeze. When needed, thaw. Warm in 375 F oven for 5 minutes. Cut and serve. |
